In terms of appearance, the overall shape of the new car is the same as the old Maxus T60, and the tail of the cargo box uses a special paint. The new car also provides two cargo boxes for consumers to choose from, with a standard cargo box size of 1485/1510/530mm and an extended cargo box size of 1800/1510/530mm.

The Maxus T60 uses a front double wishbone independent suspension and a rear full gradient leaf spring (5 leaves) suspension combination. Although the rear suspension of the Maxus T60 is a leaf spring, its overall performance is still unmatched in the same class. It not only maintains the already very good load-bearing performance for a pickup truck but also excels in terms of comfort. It actively and efficiently filters road bumps, and absorbs many larger bumps at once, without causing the body to shake excessively, especially when going over speed bumps, it is quite comfortable.

The interior layout is neat and coordinated. The central control area is equipped with a 10-inch LCD screen and a built-in new intelligent car networking system, which supports mobile phone interconnection, voice recognition, intelligent navigation, and an online entertainment system. The new car also provides keyless entry, reversing radar, reversing image, three-mode driving, and cruise control.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with SAIC π 2.0T turbocharged diesel engine, with a maximum power of 136 horsepower (100 kilowatts) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. It adopts low-speed high-torque adjustment, and the rear axle ratio is adjusted to 4.8, which is helpful for load climbing and other working conditions. The transmission system is matched with a 6MT gearbox. In addition, the car is also equipped with a BorgWarner part-time four-wheel drive system and an Eaton mechanical automatic differential lock. The flat-bottom cargo box of the new car adopts a wheel-free design, which does not occupy the cargo box space, and the original factory comes with 1.5 tons of towing qualification.
